【加拿大豬肉項目研究獲得180萬美元投資】CANADA - The Government of Canada is providing an additional $1.8 million to the pork research cluster to continue responding to consumer concerns around the humane treatment of animals, Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay has announced.This additional sum brings the total Government of Canada investment to $14.8 million and will help to expand on research work already underway as part of the five-year (2013-18) research cluster. New research will address the issue of sow housing and improved living conditions for both sows and piglets.
加拿大農(nóng)業(yè)部長勞倫斯·麥考利(Lawrence MacAulay)宣布 ， 為了潞傍歸應(yīng)消費者對動物人道待遇方面的憂患，加拿大政府向豬肉項目的相關(guān)研究額外提供180萬美元的資金 。額外資金使得加拿大政府的投資總額高達1480萬美元，并將進一步拓展2013年-18年研究項目集群中已經(jīng)開展的部分研究工作 。新研究項目將解決母豬住房問題和改善母豬和仔豬的生存條件 。
